GUIDELINES FOR TAKING BODY MEASUREMENTS (Unit: cm)

NOTE

1. Weight *
2. Height *
3. Shoulder width *

Measurement is taken from the tip of the left shoulder to the tip of the right shoulder, arching slightly to cover the cervical prominense of the neck bone.

4. Bust *

Measurement is taken around the bust with the tape measure running on the same level in front, at the back and on the sides.

5. Waist *

Measurement is taken around the smallest part of the torso. Be careful not to pull your belly in for the most accurate measurements.

6. Second Hip *

(Measurement for the waistband) Measurement is taken around the hip level whrere the stomach is fullest.

7. Chest Cirumference

Measurement is taken at the base of the chest runnning in a closed loop around the body

8. Bust Point Height

Measurement is taken from the neck point down to the highest point of the bust. Average bust point height measurement is 22 – 25cm.

9. Figure Front

From the point where the base of the neck meets the shoulder, lower the tape measure to the waist level (average measurement 36 – 42cm).

10. First Hip

(Measurement for the waistband) Measurement is taken around the hip level whrere the stomach is fullest.

11. Length of Trousers

Measurement from the waist level (with high-waisted pants) or second hip (with regular-waisted pants), pull the tape measure straight down to reach the heel (or desired length of the trousers).

12. Thigh Circumference

Measure a closed loop on the largest point of the thgh (usually 3 – 4cm from the crotch)

13. Length of sleeve

Measurement is taken from the shoulder point down to the desired length in the arms.

14. Bicep Girth

Measurement a closed loop over the largest point of the biceps

15. Length of Dress

Measurement is taken from the neck point down to over the knees.
